Our Mission
Welcome to Helendale, California and more specifically, to
the Helendale Chamber of Commerce which includes the
community of Silver Lakes.
The Chamber was established in 1993 as a community
service organization that concentrates on economic
development, new business partnerships, workforce
development, job creation and the promotion of Helendale
as a great place to work, live, play and do business.
Helendale is located in Southern California, on old Route 66,
along the Mojave River, between Barstow and Victorville.
The entire Victor Valley is part of the high desert in San
Bernardino County. It is strategically located within hours of

Silver Lakes is Helendale’s crown jewel that sparkles with vitality and opportunity. It is a private community governed by the Silver Lakes Association to which property owners pay a monthly dues that allows them access to a 27-hole golf course, boating, sailing, swimming and fishing in two lakes, tennis courts, a Club House with a pool, spa, gym, library and the Ballroom and Top Of The Lakes facilities for banquets, private parties and meetings. At the Equestrian Center there is free boarding for horses plus full hook-ups as well as storage at the RV Park.
There are many dining choices at local restaurants, a fire department with paramedics, a post office, an inn on the golf course and a 24-hour Security Patrol.
Helendale has its own Elementary School, Riverview Middle School and ACE High School with new educational
buildings presently being built. It also has numerous churches of varied denominations.
It is a place where people can chose to live in upscale homes on the water, the golf course or in the Equestrian
area. There are also apartments, condos and time shares available.
Helendale is very proud of its little oasis in the desert and encourages those looking for a place to live with a
young family, growing family or for parents whose children have grown and who need a place to retire where they
can keep busy and bond with others who want to stay active and healthy in their waning years.
Helendale has it all and the Chamber of Commerce is committed to growing the economy and quality of life for
everyone. Being a member of the Chamber is about networking and building business relationships but more than
anything, we are all in this together….businesses, non-profit organizations and civic minded individuals, each
driven by a strong desire to make a positive difference in this community. We use the creativity, knowledge and
talent of our staff and members to develop innovative solutions, programs and initiatives to assure that Helendale
is a very special place to live.
